Educators at Kyiv Christian Academy

We seek enthusiastic educators for Kyiv Christian Academy with a heart for kids and a passion for teaching others to love learning. Our K-12 school is ACSI accredited with English as the primary language of instruction. A beautiful new facility provides an ideal environment to influence students spiritually and academically. KCA currently has relatively low enrollment, grouping students by age and academic/English levels. These small groups (5-8 students) permit a personalized English-speaking Christian Education where teachers “go the extra mile” by showing the love of Jesus. Teachers have a sense of “calling” to a faith-based education of students’ minds, discipling of their hearts and inspiring them toward a life of service to others. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, ACSI certification is preferred, international teaching experience is a plus.  KCA teachers raise their own support through RCE-International or another mission agency or personal support and can receive a living expenses stipend of $200+/month.

The cost of living in Kyiv is very low for a capital city in Europe. For example, the average one-bedroom apartment rents for about $350 per month. The area is quiet and safe, just outside of the city. Kyiv is the hidden gem of Europe and has marvelous cultural attractions. KCA’s new 59,000 square foot school building and 10 acre property provides an ideal environment for teachers to invest in students spiritually and academically. KCA families have high impact roles in ministry and other leadership spheres. Through our school community, we support these families in their work in Ukraine.

Central Eurasia – Teacher for TCKs

Would you like to make a difference in the lives of Third Culture Kids (TCKs) whose family has recently arrived on the field? During the first year of a family’s term, Mom and Dad need to dive into language and culture study. Many of our families in Central Eurasia are homeschooling and need someone to come alongside their children and support them in their school studies at home. As our teams move and grow to unreached areas of Central Eurasia, schooling options are limited and having a teacher to support the team kids educationally is a great need. Will you prayerfully consider coming to join one of our teams and support our TCKs?

Looking for: First and most importantly, we want volunteers who have a heart to teach kids. Experience and education in teaching is a big plus, but not required. If you are teachable and flexible with a desire to patiently work alongside our families in education as well as be involved in team life in a Central Eurasian country, please apply! You may be a retired teacher, a recent college grad, or taking off a year to serve after high school or during a career change, we would love to share with you the options of supporting our TCKs through education!
