Middle School Language Arts & Social Studies

Are you interested in joining a dynamic, growing school in Central Eurasia? We are a small, close-knit community of approximately 80 students from kindergarten through high school. Our families come from various countries, including the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada, Germany, Korea, the Netherlands, and others. The majority of our children are in the elementary grades, but our secondary campus is quickly growing. Our school is located in the capital city of a beautiful country in the heart of Central Eurasia.

Our school exists to provide a quality Christian education to Christian families who are working in various roles to bring eternal hope and a brighter future to the precious people of our host country, which though poor and underdeveloped, has tremendous potential.

We are looking for teachers who love children, love to teach and who feel called by God to serve full-time in this ministry. We will offer you an environment where you can grow as a teacher as well as help you adjust and thrive in your new home. As a teacher, you would free up parents to serve full-time in the work to which they have been called. You would also be playing a vital role in helping our children grow to be mature, strong Christian adults.

Skills and Expertise desired:
All curriculum is provided. Teachers are expected to plan, instruct, and manage classrooms of between 15 and 20 students. They will also evaluate students and communicate progress with parents. All teachers will attend weekly staff and professional development meetings as they grow together to improve their teaching skills.”

India~ 2020 UR (Urban/Rural) Internship

2020 UR (Urban/Rural) Internship Program:

We host 3 LiveDead Urban/Rural (UR) Internships a year. These programs are designed to give the intern an overview of India’s diverse Urban and Rural locations. In the Spring and Fall programs, interns will be assigned to either an urban location or to a rural location, while our Summer program allows the intern the time to experience both an urban and a rural location in one trip. We work with each intern individually to find the right fit according to their talents and abilities with the right team and the platforms our teams are working through here on the ground.

We have a variety of platforms that we use to build relationships with the community. From sports coaching, coffee shops, fitness gyms, tea houses, art galleries, trekking, tailor work, administration teams, teaching English and more. Our goal is always to build relationships with those we are around and share the good news with them individually. We also aim to help grow interns on a personal level by reading books together as a team, hosting one on one meetings often, and holding to an encouraging atmosphere overall. The dates for 2020 are:

March 3rd-24th $2500 plus airfare deadline to apply is Jan 15th.

June 4th-July 15th $4400 plus airfare deadline to apply is Feb 16th.

October 3rd-24th $2500 plus airfare deadline to apply is August 15th.

Black Sea Internship

Every summer we spend several week on an adventure. We invite believing young adults from Turkey and the around the world to join our internship. We leave with no plans other than exotic places and people on our hearts. We camp, trek, explore, dance and display our joy to bring hope to the lost. We participate in events and drink lots of coffee and tea at the Gospel Culture Cafe. We make friends by inviting them to teach us Turkish culture, language and history. We invite new friends for a hike or a campfire meal. We listen to their story, tell ours and then share God’s story. We abide in centuries old abandoned churches and monasteries left in ruins. Come experience the work of veteran truth and love proclaimers. Stand, sit and walk by our side as we model and assist bringing hope to the hopeless.

If you like to chat over tea in seaside cafes, trek across mountain passes and see faces come alive while truth is shared by the light of the campfire, this internship is for you.

Skills and Expertise: Musicians, Artists, singer songwriters, outdoor enthusiasts, historians, and adventure seekers.

Language School Administrator – Nepal

Team Leaders in Nepal are looking for workers with a heart for unreached people groups and who can add their administrative and coaching skills to serve in Nepal. Individuals are needed to administrate and manage a previously established language school that uses the Growing Participator Approach for language learning. This center has had a very successful first year of operations and continues to grow. This language school is making an impact among multiple organizations and is filling a need for effective language acquisition in Nepal. Workers filling this role would also have the opportunity to contribute to a church planting team focused on unreached Tibetan Buddhist people groups. Important skills for this position are organizational, administration and coaching skills, as well as a teachable and flexible spirit.

Office Administration – Sri Lanka

Area Directors in Sri Lanka are currently looking for individuals with a passion for the lost, a heart for unreached people groups, and with office administration skills or experience. This team member will support the Area Director by helping with scheduled events, Sri Lanka field responsibilities – such as the continued management of the online
Global University Classes, writing minutes for the financial and travel needs our of area personnel, and training personnel in the Office 365 communication platform. Education and/or experience in computers and Android based tablets is helpful but not completely necessary. Applicants should be flexible, teachable and hardworking.
